Deb was born at the family home in Doylestown, Wisconsin, December 8, 1930, the third son of George Martin and Elizabeth Lillian (Yonkee) Langsdorf. He attended Doylestown Grade School and Rio High School. He served our country in the Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1953. Deb married Ellen Roche October 23, 1954. Together, they raised 2 sons and 4 daughters. Deb had a passion for anything related to mechanics. He could fix just about anything! His occupations through the years included: Winkler's Auto in Portage, his own business "Deb's Garage" in Otsego, Stainless Tank & Equipment in Cottage Grove, FS in Fall River, subbing for his brothers' milk hauling routes, and until retirement he owned and operated "Langsdorf Sand & Gravel" in Doylestown. For many years his hobby was racing stock cars, both late-model and midgets. Deb earned "rookie of the year" honors when he raced midgets. He was a local "fan-favorite" driving car #98 and often carried the checkered flag. Watching NASCAR races was a favorite pastime. Deb was a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Doylestown where he served on the church council and ushered services. Deb also belonged to the Fall River VFW organization and the Doylestown Fire Department.
