Gary Fredrick

Gary “Joseph” Frederick, age 76, of Fall River, passed away Monday, October 5, 2026 at UW Hospital in Madison. He was born May 12, 1949 in Baraboo, WI to Morris and Alice Fredrick.
Gary attended college and earned his associate degree. He spent his life working as a roofer, dedicating many years to his trade. He also generously gave his time volunteering with Second Harvest, helping those in need.
An outdoorsman at heart, Gary enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, snowmobiling, camping, and traveling. He had a love for adventure and the outdoors, along with a special talent for woodworking. Gary found joy in working with his hands and making the most of the time he spent doing the things he loved.
Gary will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his generous spirit, and his love of the outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife Mona Fredrick; son Tracy Fredrick; daughter Kristie Stewart; step sons Ken Firary and Kurt Firary; sister Penny Schwarz and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 16, 2026 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Grasse Funeral Home in Rio.
