Jane Marie Pyfferoen

Jane Marie (Sharp) Pyfferoen, age 77, of Reedsburg, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Jane was born on January 17, 1949, to Donald and Theresa Sharp. A graduate of Weston High School, she married her high school sweetheart, Lannie on November 16, 1968. The couple farmed together for 36 years and raised 4 children.
Jane enjoyed planning and preparing for parties. She especially liked decorating for Christmas and spoiling her family with gifts. She loved soap operas and romance novels. She was very skilled at bowling, roller skating, and dancing (she especially liked doing the Twist). She also loved playing board games and card games with her family.
Jane is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lannie; her children Jan (Dave) Ewing, Sally Leigh (Dale Schwanz), Lannie Jr. (Melissa) Pyfferoen, and Susan (Michael) Fuller; her grandchildren Jessica (Jeff) Laeseke, Preston (Liz) Riedel, Destin (Caylie) Fuller, Samantha (Roberto) Barberi, Megan (Nathan) Phillips, Abbey Fuller (Alexander Dunn), Maria Ewing (Jacob Husom), and Amanda Leigh (Ben Fox); 13 great-grandchildren; siblings Jeanette Simonson, Doris Crary, Wayne (Kathy) Sharp, Melvin (Barb) Sharp, Linda (David) Tourdot, Betty (Jon) Hinze; brother-in-law Ted Withey; many nieces and nephews and good friends.
Jane is preceded by her parents Donald and Theresa (Elliott) Sharp; her siblings Lawrence Sharp, Madonna Sharp, Myra Withey, Donna "Ellen" (Gary) Jerrett, and Alvin "Buzz" Sharp and son-in-law Todd Leigh.
An open house Celebration of Life will be held at their home E7980 E. Lake Virginia Rd. Reedsburg, WI on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Those who wish to express sympathy, share stories, and celebrate Jane's life can come anytime between 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please share a memory of Jane.
