Jean Lynch

Jean M. Lynch, age 76, of Cambria, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026. She was born June 27, 1950 to Daniel and Mary Vosen.

Jean was a God-loving, country Christian woman whose faith and love for her family were at the center of her life. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and family with her whole heart. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her children, and her love, kindness, and devotion to her family will forever be cherished. Jean will always be remembered for her deep love of animals and her beloved farmette. There was always room for just one more tree, one more puppy, another goat, rabbit, or chicken. Her love for all living things was a special part of who she was.

When she found a quiet moment to slow down, Jean enjoyed crafting, sewing, quilting, stamping, and crocheting. She had a room for everything. Jean was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 401, where she generously volunteered her time for many events. Her willingness to help others and give back to her community was another reflection of her caring heart.

Jean is survived by her husband Michael Lynch; children Daniel (Trish) Pickarts, Jeremy (Rena) Pickarts, Anthony Mahl and Tiffany (Brent) Taylor; grandchildren Hannah, Gabrielle, Mikal, Alexandra, Amelia, Ashley, Kyle, Lucas, Bradley, Nicole, Ellamore, Logan, Shayla, Owen, Ciara and Donavan; her loving mother Mary Vosen; siblings Connie (John) Hess, Cindy (James) Woodside, Herb Schwantes, Karla (Ken) Konkel and Brian (Lori) Vosen.
She was preceded in death by her father Daniel Vosen; son Christopher Mahl; sister Danielle Schwantes and brother Jeffery Vosen.

Jean leaves behind a wealth of memories, endless love to those she cared for and an enormous spirit for the life God provided to her.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 6, 2026 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Dalton Town Hall.
