On April 28, 1946, I married Ewald Grosskrueger at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Loganville by Pastor Carl Stubenvoll. We lived in the Town of Franklin for one year. We then purchased an acre of land on the back end of my parents farm and moved a house there and fixed it up. We had a construction business. In later years I was a cook in the Loganville School for 18 years. I also worked many summers at the Reedsburg Foods canning factory. Ewald passed away September 20th, 2002. I live alone in our house and then sold it in 2004. I moved to Reedsburg to Willow Heights Apartments. In May 2009 I came to the Willows nursing home and rehab center at Sun Prairie.
