She also worked many years on the Town of Westfield election board. Over the years she enjoyed crocheting, stitchery and quilting. She was a great cook and baker and filled her fruit cellar many times over with canned goods. As a farm wife she spent countless hours assisting with milking cows twice a day and operating tractors while pulling a plow, disk, hay crusher, baler or chopper. She also had the pleasure of family time picking stones and always made sure there was a lunch along. Also thank you to Agrace for their end of life care for both Norene and her family and to Dr. Spencer Fast for his compassionate care. Because of the current COVID 19 restrictions, a private family burial will be held in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in rural Rock Springs. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
